Tourism and COVID-19

Due to the existence of COVID-19 pandemic, we urge you to check the Local Government Unit’s (LGU) requirements before traveling. Furthermore, wearing of face masks, physical distancing, and frequent handwashing is strongly advised anywhere in the country. Policies on wearing face shields vary in every LGU.

Keep yourself protected at all times by following the minimum health standards and keep your body on its tip-top shape by getting enough rest, adequate nutrition, and doing physical activities.


Signs and Symptoms

COVID-19 affects every individual differently. The most common manifestations are:

  • fever
  • dry cough
  • tiredness

Other signs and symptoms include:

  • aches and pains
  • sore throat
  • diarrhea
  • conjunctivitis
  • headache
  • loss of taste (ageusia)
  • loss of smell (anosmia)
  • skin rashes
  • difficulty of breathing or shortness of breath
  • chest pain
  • loss of speech or movement
